Celebrating our Classified Employees - Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, and Facilities

This week, Soledad Unified School District proudly celebrates Classified Employee Appreciation Week, and each day we’ll shine a spotlight on one of our incredible employee groups. Today, we celebrate our Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, and Facilities (MOTF) team members. MOTF staff include Custodians, Bus Drivers, Groundskeepers, Delivery Drivers, Transportation Dispatchers, and other key personnel.

Our custodians ensure we have clean, healthy, and safe learning and teaching environments and school campuses. Our bus drivers see to it that students are safely transported to school and back home again. They are often the first and last District employees our students see each day. Our groundskeepers keep our campuses looking clean and well-tended.

Our Skilled Trades staff include our Plumber, Electrician, Locksmith, HVAC/Mechanic, and Painter. These employees coordinate their work to ensure our buildings and facilities are kept in the best possible working condition.

Together, our MOTF team members provide for the physical safety and optimal learning environment for our teachers and other staff to support student learning. Thank you for your dedication and efforts.
