Rose Ferrero Elementary School is a Community School, meaning we focus on student needs and equity with an integrated approach on academics, health & social services, youth & community development, and community engagement. This framework is referred to as the 4 Pillars of a Community School. The Community Schools implementation is not a program or initiative, but a school improvement strategy to address inequities.
