Honoring Memorial Day in Soledad

As we observe Memorial Day, Soledad Unified School District joins our community and nation in honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Their courage, service, and dedication to our country will never be forgotten. Memorial Day is also a time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave their lives in defense of our nation. We encourage our students, families, and community members to take a moment to remember and honor these heroes and their families.
The community is invited to attend the Soledad Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25, at 10:00 a.m. at the Soledad Cemetery. The ceremony is hosted by the Soledad American Legion Post 32, and will include Presentation of Colors by the Soledad High School NJROTC and music by the Soledad High School Aztec Band. This meaningful event provides an opportunity for us to come together in remembrance and gratitude.
On behalf of Soledad Unified School District, we wish everyone a safe and reflective Memorial Day.
